Privacy Policy
This policy explains how memduck handles personal data for the web service and iOS app.
Data we collect
memduck stores the account identifiers required for Sign in with Apple and Google sign-in, your email address when provided by an identity provider, content you save as memory, and project or Agent session data that an authorized connection sends to your Brain.
How we use data
We use this data to authenticate your account, sync your second brain, answer grounded questions, deliver relevant project context to authorized Agents, and maintain review and context-read history.
Agent connections
Agent connections use revocable tokens with specific read or write permissions. You can authorize one project, or account administrators can explicitly authorize all accessible projects for an Agent used across repositories. memduck records which connection requested context, the query, token budget, and source identifiers returned so you can audit access.
AI processing
Saved content may be sent to the model provider configured for your workspace so memduck can summarize, search, classify, and answer with citations.
Tracking
memduck does not sell personal data and does not use third-party advertising tracking.
Retention and deletion
Your saved sources, memories, Brain projects, Agent sessions, and audit history remain in your workspace until you delete them or delete your account. You can download a backup and delete the account from the account page.
